Steinmetz Diamond Studded Helmets Again In Monaco Grand Prix

For four consecutive years Vodafone McLaren Mercedes and Steinmetz Diamonds are team partners for the Monaco Grand Prix.

On Sunday 24th May two drivers for the team will be wearing the custom made diamond studded helmets. The two drivers Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen are the world No 1 and No 2 respectively. Lewis Hamilton is the 2008 world champion.

This year the helmets were crafted by experts to display the No 1 and No 2 positions of Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen on their helmets respectively.The diamonds used for the inscriptions are forever modern round brilliant hallmarked diamonds.

In 2008 Steinmetz diamonds incorporated their logo using diamonds with the forever mark  on the helmets. This was the first time any sponsors logo was embedded on the helmet with diamonds.

Lior Levin, marketing director of Steinmetz ,noted:”We’re looking forward to the Monaco GP as always this is the main event of the season; we hope that Lewis and Heikki will outshine the diamonds in their helmets.”
