- Trade Fair and Exhibition Guide for 2010 by NGJA (For the jewellery and gem industry)
The National Gem and Jewellery Authority (NGJA), Sri Lanka has released many publications for the year 2010. Some of the publications have been available for some time while others have been released recently. Most of the publications are FREE to registered members of the trade. The publications can be obtained from the Export Promotion Division of the NGJA.
The Trade Fair and Exhibition Guide 2010 (See above) for the gemstone and jewellery industry is a very useful guide for exporters in the gem and jewellery industry. This book has been available for some time. More recently a new version of a poster on the ‘Gemstones Found in Sri Lanka'(See below) has been available free of charge. The poster is also available in Chinese language.

The gemstones in the poster include blue sapphire, star ruby, white sapphire, star blue sapphire, pink sapphire, yellow sapphire, orange sapphire, alexandrite (in daylight and in artificial light), padmaraga sapphire/padparascha sapphire, ruby, chrysoberyl cats eye, alexandrite cats eye, chrysoberyl, beryl, amethyst, aquamarine, topaz, pyrope garnet, hessonite garnet, spinel, rhodolite garnet, tourmaline, moonstone, zircon, spessartite garnet, citrine and alamandine garnet.
A new version of the “Educational Booklet on the Gem and Jewellery Industry in Sri Lanka” (Third print). The booklet is available free of charge and is available in english, sinhala and tamil. If you want to obtain a copy please contact the following address:

The Export Promotion Division of the National Gem and Jewellery Authority has published the 4th Edition of the Exporters Handbook (see above).
