Lesotho Pink Storm Diamond to be Sold by Tender in Antwerp

International diamond tendering company Fusion Alternatives and the international diamond brokerage firm I. Hening & Co. who jointly handle the rough diamond tenders of Namakawa Diamonds and its subsidiary Storm Mountain Diamonds production from their KAO mine in Lesotho, has announced the dates of the next KAO Rough/Special Diamond Tenders, due to take place from January 16-29, 2014. The sale also includes the 36.06-carat, pink, Type IIa rough diamond, known as the “Lesotho Pink Storm” recovered from the KAO mine recently.

Initially, the KAO rough diamond tenders will be held in New York from January 16 – 21, where viewings and submitting of seal-bid tenders will take place. The venue will then shift to Antwerp in Belgium, where the viewings and submitting of seal-bid tenders will continue from January 23 to January 29. Tenders close at 19.00 hrs. on Wednesday, January 29, 2014.
