The Department of Economic Affairs, Northern Cape, South Africa is to set up a new diamond and jewellery academy at Kimberley.
The news was made public by a department representative to Mining Weekly.
Until June 22nd the department accept submissions of tenders for the project from diamond cutting cutting and polishing equipment manufacturers.The company also noted that tender submissions will be reviewed in accordance with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act of 2000.
