ALLAN STONE AND ADRIANA WILLIAMS COLLECTIONS DRAW ATTENTION TO RAGO’S NOVEMBER 5 AUCTIONS

Lambertville, NJ – On Saturday, November 5, 2016, Rago will hold auctions of 19th/20th Century American and European Art and Post-War/Contemporary Art including selections from the Allan Stone Collection. This auction series will also include the sale of Intoxicated by Art: The Collection of Adriana Williams featuring fine and decorative art including works by Mexican artists Miguel Covarrubias, Rosa Covarrubias and Francisco Toledo as well as Symbolist paintings, Surrealist paintings, contemporary glass, Art Nouveau and jewelry. Biographer to the Covarrubiases and companion to Luis Barragán, Adriana Williams spent much of her life immersed in the arts. The Adriana Williams Collection, assembled over 39-years in partnership with her husband, Tom Williams, affords an intimate glance at the life and tastes of an art world insider. The sales feature many works fresh to market.
